Governance Code
The term Corporate Governance stands for responsible corporate management and control geared to long-term value creation. Efficient cooperation between Executive Board and Supervisory Board, respect for stockholder interests, openness and transparency of corporate communications are key aspects of good corporate governance.
Good corporate governance is a core component of management at Software AG. The Executive Board and the Supervisory Board are committed to it, and all our divisions guide themselves by it. Responsible, qualified and transparent corporate governance focuses on a company’s long-term success. It includes both compliance with the law and extensively following generally accepted standards and recommendations.
The focus is on values such as sustainability, transparency and value orientation.

Software AG is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and included in Deutsche Börse’s MDAX and TecDAX index of technology companies. Therefore it is subject to strict communication regulations concerning communication to financial analysts, investors, the media and the public in general.
